I'm DIY queen ask anyone. I wanted to inspire Dylan to be creative. I also may have been having mommy guilt from being so busy during the week. So, I took a trip to dollar general and purchased a few paint brushes , some paint ,and a large paint book. I made the rest of the day all about Dylan and I.
It was so interesting to watch as Dylan tried to figure out what was this madness mommy is introducing. After a few demonstration Dylan caught on and flourished like a young Picasso.
Tips and tricks.
I prepared for a mess: I placed a plastic table cloth on the table so he could paint on and off the book if he wanted to.
I didn’t correct anything I just allowed him to let his creative juices flow. Which allowed for freedom of expression.
I repeated each colors as he dipped his brush because children learn through repetition and play.
When he was finished I told him how bomb his art work was. it actually was and I’m his biggest cheerleader. "Good Job Baby"
I added the bubble machine for a little zen and extra hand eye coordination when he popped them.

this was our summer must have product . When toys r us was closing I literally grabbed every bottle off the shelf. Dylan and I love these products the insect Repellent smells just like lemons. It doesn't give that horrible smell like most products you may know. The sunscreen is easy to spread like baby lotion.
