Fall is here and I think we may have found another fall tradition. Dylan and I took a trip to the BJ apple orchard in north Georgia for the first time to try apple picking. I learned Elija referred to as “the apple capital of Georgia” who knew?

A family friend recommended this specific orchard. Although it was 1.5 hours away from where we live . I was game for the drive. I must mention I don’t mind driving. 3 hours tops solo I’m game!
The drive to BJ was an easy ride up 400. The trees are so beautiful this time of the year which made for a peaceful ride. When you arrive. You will see the BJ orchards sign, you can’t miss it. first thing you will see is the store that looks like a cabin. This beautiful store has everything that are made from apples you could think of. I stuck my head in because I thought you had to purchase you’re ticket there first. You don’t. The store was packed so we didn’t get a chance to go in and shop around. However, we were directed across the street from the store for U-Pick.
The property is large enough for social distance. We went on a Tuesday. It was basically empty at the u-pick location. There are several rows. Which give you enough space to stay in a row alone with your family.

Outfit details
Ga weather is a bit up and down. We dressed for fall and started getting hot. Dylan was over it and wanted to Go! I would suggest a wagon for the kids that don’t like walking. I wore close toe slides which was comfortable for me. However, wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty or ones that are easy to clean. It wasn’t muddy but Your walking on hills and dirty.
