Are you a book lover? if so keep reading. this post will be for you. This month the FAITHOFAFASHIONMOM community has joined in a 30 day self care challenge. Day two of the challenge was, get a new book. If you need book recommendations then continue reading.


This blog post will be different than the normal. This is a simple book list. Books I have read, some I’m in the process of reading and books on my reading list. This post will most definitely be updated frequently.

This year has surly made me find the time to fall back in love with the things I once loved. Reading for leisure is something Im happy I found time for this year.



2020 BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS


This book is a must have and keep. I enjoyed it so much I gifted it twice. Relational intelligence teach you have to manage relationships in your life. This book allows you to analyze how you are placing people in your life. Relationships are one of the most important assets. They can either take you down the path of success or distraction.

Are you in a leadership role or aiming to be a leader. This offers practical ideas that’s professionals can use to find their edge and win!

This is my current read. Maxwell, sets you you up to think clearly to get to the next level. “How we think is how we behave and how we behave is who we are”- quote from Thomas Chapman

Pastor Sarah encourages through this book not to settle for safe and step out on faith in areas of your life that God has called you to.

Pastor T.D Jakes highlight the importance of forgiveness and letting go of things you can’t change.

I read this book years ago. However, I have to mention because it’s still on the Amazon best seller after being released in 1997. The Four Agreements are:

  1. Be Impeccable With Your Word.

  2. Don't Take Anything Personally.

  3. Don't Make Assumptions.

  4. Always Do Your Best.

As a creative you may wonder if what you’re doing is a reflection of God or how can it reflect God if you’re not a pastor. This book includes 40 plus Christian entrepreneurs who are successfully glorifying God through their work.
