Planning a quick trip to Minnesota was not on the travel plans for this year. However, after virtual school, and zero traveling all year. The accommodation were right. I always wanted to visit mall of America, Nickelodeon Universe. this was the perfect time. So we booked a hotel, flight , and headed out!
HOTEL.
Where you lay your head should match the level of your home if not better, In my opinion. While looking for a hotel for this trip. I had a few must haves, high on my list of must haves were kid friendly, lobby amenities like gift store, restaurant and hotel shuttle, from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to mall of America. Here are a few I found across my search

Mall of America has tons to do. Over 500 stores and serval different attractions. Sea life, is one of the many attractions. It has an amazing under water tunnel. The aquarium is designed as a walk through tunnel. I recommend purchasing tickets in advance and early, to avoid walking behind a huge crowd.

Theres so many stores to shop and see. Of course we didn’t visit every store. The few we did stop in made me relive so many childhood memories.
Build a bear.
M&M store, my fav!
Lego World
ZARA
Of course there‘s a lot of stores in the mall for kids. But let’s not forget about the adults! I didn’t want to turn the 2day trip into a shopping trip, but I did squeeze in a few little Zara pieces for myself and Dylan.

Nickelodeon Universe
In the center of the mall is an entire theme park! Although, all the rides were not open. We enjoyed the few that was age/ height appropriate. I wanted to go on the rollercoasters but the little wasn’t tall enough. Maybe next time!
Overall, Mall of America is a one stop adventure. The hotels around make it easy for you to experience a day of fun! The mall has everything you can think of , entertainment and dining. Remember, grab your strollers but if you forget. The mall has rentals, for $10. There’s a lot to see and a lot of walking!
