Do You Have A Prayer Area

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Mom’s where is your quit place? where do you go and sit and spend time with the God? —-If you don‘t have one. My challenge for you is to create one. Why is this so important? You will begin to desire to go to your place to meet God. To have your alone time at the feet of the lord. You will desire to run to your safe space to tell God all your worries, thoughts , and feelings.

My space is in my blue chair. By a window in my room. My son know when he see mommy kneeling by the blue chair “mommy is praying“. The sweetest thing is when he falls asleep on the floor next to me because he want to pray too. I always tell it's time for bed. However, looking back now, as I write this. I’m glad he has those memories, of "mommy praying in the blue chair", because this is teaching him the importance of spending time with God.

Mom’s , I know we can get busy with day to day life and the many hats we have to wear. But it is important we pray and carve out time in our busy schedule for God. We also have to remember our children are a reflection of us and we are their example. Your place can be in the bathroom, your car, or even a closet in a room. Create a space that you can find your peace and connect with God.

My prayer is that you find time to create your space and each day you begin to grow closer and closer to your heavenly father. He is already waiting for you there. He’s just waiting for you to come as you are.

the lord.
